Century Pines Golf Club

For Chapter 2, we enjoyed sharing the story of Golfheadz, founded by our fellow leaguers, Aash Nathwani and JP Kim.
Golfheadz was founded in 2016 and focuses on providing the latest on Golf Kicks, Equipment, and Culture. Two years ago, they also founded Pace of Play, an indoor golf facility powered by Trackman where many golfers in the GTA go to hone their game.
During our chat, they shared the origin story of Golfheadz, how they built it to what it is today (261k followers on IG), how the industry has changed since 2016, and what they expect moving forward. JP also shared his experience attending The Masters in April 2024.
Pre-Round
Before our round, we also shared the story of Customize My Clubs and its Founder, Elliott Morrone.
Founded in 2019, Customize My Clubs started stamping wedges for friends and family and has grown to stamp wedges for golfers worldwide. As the Official Wedge Engraving Partner for this season, many of our leaguers had the opportunity to customize their wedges with Elliott and his team.
Elliott is also an assistant golf professional at the Beverly Golf and Country Club and provided tips to our leaguers during their range session before the round.
The Round
Known as Kaneff Golf’s best kept secret, Century Pines is a mature and picturesque parkland golf course near Hamilton, home to majestic Maple, Oak, and Pine trees that fortify and frame its sculpted bentgrass fairways, lush tee decks, and undulating greens. The natural beauty of the forest and wetlands is enhanced by two creeks that meander throughout the course.
Playing roughly 6,300 yards from the Blues, Century Pines has numerous ponds, Ohio Valley sand-filled bunkers, and other natural hazards awaiting errant strokes on this 18-hole golf course.
